Pressure washing uses 3000+ PSI to forcefully remove dirt and stains. It's aggressive and fast. Soft washing uses 500 PSI or less with chemical treatment to dissolve stains instead of blasting them off. Pressure works for concrete and hard surfaces. Soft washing works for delicate materials like brick, wood siding, and roofing. Using pressure on brick damages mortar and displaces bricks. Using soft wash on concrete takes forever. When pressure washing makes sense

Pressure works for concrete parking areas, driveways, and hard-surface loading docks. It removes heavy dirt, oil stains, and grime quickly. Mature concrete (10+ years old) handles pressure well. When soft washing is necessary
